Denim and everything around it. Levi's is one of the few labels where a piece can be dated fairly closely from its own tags, which is a big part of why people collect it.
What reaches us runs wider than jeans alone: jackets, caps, polos and shirts all turn up under the label. On any denim piece the tab and the internal tags are what tell you the era, and we photograph them on every listing rather than summarising. Sizing on older denim gets measured rather than assumed, since a pair that's been worn and washed for decades won't match the waist printed on it. Fading and whiskering come from genuine wear and are usually the point, so we describe them rather than treat them as damage.

Common questions
Can a pair of Levi's be dated from its tags?
To a rough period, yes. The tab, the internal labels and the way the care information's printed all changed over the decades, and they're read together. We photograph the tags so you can place a piece yourself.
Is the waist size on old denim accurate?
Rarely. Denim shrinks and stretches with wear and washing, so we measure the waist flat and give you the real number alongside the labelled one.
Is fading a fault?
Not at all. Fading, whiskering and worn hems are the marks of genuine wear and usually the reason people buy vintage denim in the first place. Holes, marks and repairs are a separate matter and we always photograph those.
