Oneita's a blank maker whose shirts turn up under event and music prints: road races, sports finals and festivals, usually with a year printed somewhere on the graphic. That makes this one of the easiest collections to date at a glance.
Oneita blanks are rated for the cotton, heavier and more textured than most of what was being printed on at the time, and for the tags, which changed enough over the years to be useful for dating. We photograph the neck label on every listing alongside the print. Fit runs boxy and short in the body, in line with other blanks from the period, so the measurements matter more than the letter on the tag.

Common questions
Why does it matter which blank a shirt was printed on?
Because the blank affects both how the shirt feels and how easily it can be dated. Heavier cottons wear better, and neck tags changed often enough to place a piece in a rough period.
Do event tees usually have a year on them?
Often, yes. Races, finals and festivals print the year into the graphic, which dates the shirt exactly without anyone needing to read a tag. That's a big part of why they're collected.
How does the sizing run?
Boxy through the body and short in the length, like most blanks of the period. Use the measurements we've listed and size up if you want more room.
